Lawrence and her 'Hunger Games' co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson are the latest celebrities to express disbelief at the success of Trump's campaign so far.
Jennifer Lawrence has spoken of her incredulity at Donald Trump’s campaign to become President, saying it would be “the end of the world” if the billionaire actually reached the White House in 2016.
Lawrence was in conversation with Entertainment Weekly alongside her two Hunger Games co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, promoting the forthcoming final instalment of the dystopian series called Mockingjay – Part 2, when she made the comments. Perhaps if Trump wins, she’ll be returning as Katniss Everdeen to lead a rebellion in real life!
“If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world,” the 25 year old said in forthright manner. Hemsworth chimed in: “I’ll back you up on that.”
Jennifer Lawrence spoke of her incredulity at Donald Trump's campaign
69 year old real estate tycoon Trump announced that he was running for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination at the start of 2015, but few gave him any genuine chance of succeeding. However, it’s seven months later and the billionaire is the clear frontrunner, using his outsider status to his advantage.

“I genuinely believe that reality television has reached the ultimate place where now even things like this might just be for entertainment,” Lawrence continued. “It’s either that or it’s Hillary’s brilliant idea.”
Hutcherson also echoed her sentiments, not even seeming to believe Trump’s candidacy is genuine. “It’s a publicity stunt,” he says, "it can’t be real.”
Lawrence finished up by saying sarcastically: “I was watching him on the campaign trail and one guy said, ‘I love Donald Trump because he’s saying everything I’m thinking and I just can’t say it because of the PC factor.’ And I’m thinking, ‘You are absolutely right. That’s who I want representing my country, somebody politically incorrect. That will just be perfect.’”
