Jennifer Aniston probably couldn't wait to get to Heathrow airport and catch a flight straight back to Los Angeles, but the stoic actress smiled intently for the cameras and braved the blustery British weather for the premiere of her new comedy We're the Millers in London on Wednesday night (August 14, 2014).

Poor old Aniston - she probably assumed we have summers in Britain, or maybe she heard the rumors about a little sunshine? Either way, she wore a flowery dress fit for the Californian heat.

Jennifer attended the event with her co-star Jason Sudeikis, who looked predictably dapper in a navy suit with red tie. In the movie - which received mixed reviews stateside - he plays David Clark, a small-time pot dealer who is tasked with bringing a huge shipment of drugs into America from Mexico.

Watch the We're The Millers trailer:

A single man, David enlists the help of a local stripper (Aniston) and two kids to help form a fake family in a bid to thwart border police.

When asked how she felt being in rainy London, Aniston told The Mirror, "So good, so happy to be here. [The fans are] the most incredible group of people."

On her decision to join We're The Millers - which has been in and out of development for years - the actress explained, "It was one of those stories where the original idea about these down and out people, the drug dealer, the people stuck and then David just gets his ass kicked and he has to smuggle the drugs and get across the border... It's just really ballsy and silly."

According to our friends at Just Jared, Aniston's dress was designed by Dior, with jewels by Fred Leighton, a bag by Burberry and shoes courtesy of Giuseppe Zanotti.

As mentioned, the movie has garnered mixed reviews in the U.S, though rallied to score of 42% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not great by any means, though for a comedy - not a disaster.

"We're the Millers' clicks on just enough cylinders to warrant a recommendation," said Richard Roeper.

"A movie written by a committee, too long, but the cast carries it a long way, these mild virtues don't quite add up to a recommendation, but if you said you wanted to see it I wouldn't block the door," said Mick LaSalle of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Of course, like any Hollywood movie's London premiere, the D-list celebrities were out in force (though some famous ones too). Check out the pictures below. Or view our full gallery here.
