Jason Sudeikis will presumably concentrate on movie roles now.
Jason Sudeikis, the most high profile member of the Saturday Night Live cast, has confirmed he is leaving the show and will not feature on the new series.
The veteran announced the news on Wednesday's The Late Show With David Letterman, saying he's "definitely done" after 10 years on the late-night NBC comedy staple.
"I'm definitely done," he told Letterman. "I'm not coming back next fall." The actor is currently starring in the comedy flick 'We're the Millers' with Jennifer Aniston and is engaged to his former co-star on The O.C, Olivia Wilde.
Sudeikis joked that he'll probably miss the show once is returns in the fall, though said, ""You start to get that itch probably in August where all these sketch ideas come up.And I'll be like, "well can I make these sketch ideas last 90 minutes and turn it into a movie?" Probably not."
Sudeikis announcing his departure is bad news for SNL. It's the news producer's really didn't want to hear.

Fred Armisen and Bill Hader have already announced their departures, while Seth Meyers is leaving to host NBC's 'Late Night.' Kristen Wiig, another hugely popular performer on the show, left a couple of seasons to pursue a movie career.
Sudeikis joined Saturday Night Live in 2003 and a writer, becoming a featured performer in 2005. His most popular impersonations include Joe Biden, Mitt Romney, Jason Mraz, Harry Connick Jr, and, Miley Cyrus.
