Supernatural star Jared Padalecki has become a first-time father after his wife gave birth to a baby boy.
The actor and his partner, Genevieve, welcomed a son on Monday night (19Mar12) in Seattle, Washington.
Padalecki confirmed the happy news in a post on his Twitter.com page, simply writing, "It's a boy."
The couple previously asked friends and fans to give money to charity in lieu of buying them baby gifts and they raised $25,000 (£15,625) for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
