Jared Leto still wants to be ''rocking a stage'' when he gets older, like Sir Mick Jagger.

The 30 Seconds To Mars frontman hopes to have the stamina and skills of 69-year-old Rolling Stones when he reaches the same age.

Jared, 41, told the Daily Star newspaper: ''If I ain't dead, I'd love to be rocking a stage like Mick Jagger at his age.

''I saw the Rolling Stones play in Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago and they were incredible.

''They're an example to us all. They could be hanging out on yachts but they're still doing what they do, and they do it really well. If I can still do that in my seventies, I'll be a happy man.''

The group - also including Jared's brother Shannon and Tomo Miličević - are set to play a number of festivals throughout the summer and Jared promises big performances.

He added: ''We're going to make people's eyeballs fall out of their heads and play so hard your skin will melt.

''Seriously, bring a diaper. You might s**t yourself, or we haven't done our job.''

The trio's latest album 'Love Lust Faith And Dreams' became their first top five in the UK album chart this week and Jared is trying to savour their success rather than getting straight to work on another record.

He said: ''Our first three albums felt like a trilogy and this one is the start of a new chapter. I'm always writing. I wrote a new song last week that's pretty damn exciting. But I'm trying to park those new ideas as I feel I've earned the right to stay excited about this record for now.''
