The next edition of James Corden's Carpool Karaoke looks to be an exciting one, as Chris Martin hitchhikes to the Super Bowl in San Francisco for his performance at the weekend. It's always funny when it's all Brits together, but can the pair stand more than 400 miles in a car together?

A sneak peak of tonight's episode of 'The Late Late Show' on CBS has been unveiled, featuring snippets from James Corden's latest Carpool Karaoke. This time, he 'happens' to pick up Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in Los Angeles as he thumbs a lift holding a sign reading 'Superbowl San Francisco'.

Of course, Corden is very willing to lend a hand, though it's a much longer drive than he bargained for. 'Have you any idea how much further it is to go?' A tired Corden asks Martin, who's holding a mao of California. 'We've only got about 400 more miles', he says, before cheerfully adding how much of a good time he's having.

As part of the driving karaoke, Corden and Martin perform a rendition of Coldplay's 2008 smash hit 'Viva La Vida' which featured on their fourth album 'Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends'. Not to mention the upbeat 2015 single 'Adventure of a Lifetime' from latest album 'A Head Full of Dreams'.

It's no wonder Chris Martin is in such a cheerful mood; not only does he have the opportunity of a lifetime getting to play at one of the US' biggest entertainment events, but there are also rumours flying about that his band will be joined by Bruno Mars and even Beyonce, the latter of whom featured on their last single 'Hymn for the Weekend'.

The Super Bowl 50 game between Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers will air on CBS on February 7th 2016.
