Jake Bugg's new single, Trouble Town, is available as a free download on Jake's Facebook page. The single had its debut radio play by Steve Lamacq on BBC 6Music and soon afterwards had its first Radio 1 play by Huw Stephens. Jake also performed Trouble Town live on BBC 2's Review Show.
The video for Trouble Town sees Jake messing around with his friends and filming the world around him, which includes a high rise building and a typical British road.
Jake Bugg is only seventeen years of age but has got everyone talking about his talent that seems far advanced beyond his years. His influences to The Beatles; Donovan and Johnny Cash are clearly heard in his songs and, like many teens his age, he also enjoys Wiz Khalifa! His first introduction to music was a Don McLean track on an episode of The Simpsons.
At twelve he started playing a guitar and singing and just two years later he was writing songs. Jake has accomplished a lot in his young years. He has already played at Glastonbury, on the BBC Introducing stage and is a recent signing to Mercury Records.
