Jada Pinkett-Smith has hit out at the press for their continual speculation over the state of her and Will Smith's relationship. Several rumors had been circulating that the couple had split, but Pinkett-Smith insists she has no idea where they've come from, with People Magazine reporting that she's told a French magazine "Every year, one celebrity couple is under the microscope. This year, unluckily, it's us! I almost want to say that we should have been expecting it. Will and I know the truth. We're waiting peacefully for the storm to blow over."
"These rumors are completely untrue," she continued, "I travel a lot because of my work, just like Will does. ... But our lifestyle hasn't changed. Before we had the kids, we were already far away from each other quite often because of separate projects." She also refuted the rumor that they no longer lived under the same roof, saying "That's ridiculous. We've always lived together."
The pair have a busy schedule coming up with their kids too. Will is filming 'After Earth' with 13 year-old Jaden, and Jada is going on tour with Willow, aged 11. "As a mom, I'm very proud to see them pursuing the things they love," said Jada. "We leave them enough space to express themselves and make their dreams come true. We leave them free to make their own choices. We try not live through them."
