Hugh Jackman recently revealed that he has had to seek treatment after being diagnosed with skin cancer for a second time.

The 45 year-old actor found basal-cell carcinomas on his nose for the second time, and subsequently got the cancerous cells removed.

However, Jackman realizes that there is a likely chance the disease could return. While sporting a small bandage on the area the skin was removed, the Australian star spoke at a press conference in Beijing to promote his most recent movie, 'X-Men: Days of Future Past.'

The 'Wolverine' actor told the Associated Press: "I'm realistic about the future and it's more than likely that I'll have at least one more but probably many more, which is not uncommon for an Aussie particularly from English stock growing up in Australia where I don't remember ever being told to put sunscreen on."

Adding, "But the beauty of this is it's all preventable, it's just about getting proper check-ups. I can be typical man, a little lazy, I couldn't be bothered and now I'm not lazy at all."

Last Saturday (May 10th) Jackman publically shared a photo on his Instagram account of a bandage on the right side of his nose, revealing his second bout with the disease.

"Another Basal Cell Carcinoma," the 'X-Men' star captioned the snap. "All out now. Thanks Dr. Albom and Dr. Arian. Please! Please! Wear Sunscreen!"

Jackman was first diagnosed with the common form of cancer in November of last year (2013), stating that a carcinoma of nose cells had been removed, and posted a similar photo of himself healing from the treatment.
