Thursdays and Friday's events focus on the publishers, writers and producers behind comics and television programmes. These include those working behind the scenes of shows such as The Big Bang Theory, Battlestar Galactica and The X-Files. The stars of these shows will also be making an appearance in talk panels over the weekend: Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny return for a special 20th anniversary reunion of The X-Files.

For fans turning up to see certain events, including last year's Avengers panel, there are some surprises in store. Last year the entire Avenger's cast appeared on stage together. With rumours in the works of upcoming DC Comic films, such as Wonder Woman, will the film studios use this event as a perfect opportunity to test the waters?
