Hugh Dancy And Mads Mikkelsen's Silence Of The Lambs Tv Spin-off Hannibal Has Been Cancelled.
Series creator Bryan Fuller has confirmed the current third season of the show will be its last.
Breaking the news to fans on Monday (22Jun15), he said, "NBC (network) has allowed us to craft a television series that no other broadcast network would have dared, and kept us on the air for three seasons despite Cancellation Bear Chow ratings and images that would have shredded the eyeballs of lesser Standards & Practices enforcers.
"Hannibal is finishing his last course at NBC's table this summer, but a hungry cannibal can always dine again. And personally, I look forward to my next meal with NBC."
In the show, Mikkelsen portrayed creepy psychologist Dr. Hannibal Lecter and Dancy an FBI profiler under his care.
