Henry Cavill Recalls Awkward Sex Scene Which Left Him Accidentally Aroused

Henry Cavill

British movie star Henry Cavill has revealed his embarrassment at a time he accidentally got an “unacceptable” erection during filming of a sex scene for BBC period drama ‘The Tudors’.

The Hollywood heavy hitter was a part of the historical series based on the reign of Henry VIII, which ran for four seasons between 2007 and 2010. However, one particular moment left him mortified after a scene he shot with a girl with “spectacular breasts” made him rather aroused.

Jesse Eisenberg Likens Comic-Con To "Genocide"

Jesse Eisenberg Ben Affleck Henry Cavill Robert Pattinson Jeremy Irons Holly Hunter

Jesse Eisenberg apparently didn’t enjoy being at Comic-Con, likening his experience at the massive convention to “some kind of genocide”. We know the crowds can be a little forceful, but seriously?

Giving a reaction to this year’s annual sci-fi and comic fest to the Associated Press on Monday (July 13th), the actor made the somewhat questionable remarks. “It is like being screamed at by thousands of people,” he reflected, “I don’t know what the experience is throughout history, probably some kind of genocide. I can’t think of anything that’s equivalent.”

Zack Snyder Henry Cavill Ben Affleck Gal Gadot Ray Fisher Amy Adams Jesse Eisenberg Jeremy Irons Ezra Miller

The first trailer for the DC crossover movie 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' has finally arrived - and it's difficult to tell who's most formidable, despite the fact that one superhero has earned his power, and the other was gifted at birth.

Batman v Superman logo'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' is coming next year

Zack Snyder is returning with the sequel to 2013's Superman adventure 'Man Of Steel', and it's our first taste of The Justice League as they hit theaters for the first time. While the plot remains unknown, we can gather that the world has become disillusioned with Clark Kent (Henry Cavill); mistrusting of him given humanity's history with power and corruption, and fearful that their faiths are being questioned.

Leaked "Batman Vs. Superman" Trailer Generates Extra Publicity

Ben Affleck Henry Cavill Zack Snyder

As far as publicity goes, the leaked Batman vs. Superman trailer may have worked in the movie’s favour. Sure, the early release meant it sort of clashed with the first look at Star Wars: Episode VII, but then this probably means that the superhero showdown will get an extra day of hype, once the actual, legit trailer drops/is released by the studio for real.

The shaky, second-hand recording of the trailer was only on YouTube for minutes, before being taken down, but it was enough to generate pages and pages of coverage, because, you know, content is kind of like gold for entertainment writers.

Throughout the early 1960s, the Cold War was in full swing. Two agents, one from Russia and one from America are at each other's throats throughout the conflict. Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) is a CIA agent, known for his suave and womanising nature. Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) is a KGB known for his brutality and deadly efficiency. When a criminal organisation sprouts from former Nazi soldiers, Russia and America temporarily put aside their differences to find a solution to the problem. Unfortunately, getting the two men (who have made a career out of trying to kill one another) to work together, may not be as easy as it seems.

In a huge announcement of forthcoming releases, Warner Bros has bet big on DC Comics-branded movies to follow its marquee release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2015. That movie, starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, will be followed by The Flash with Ezra Miller, Aquaman starring Jason Momoa and a Wonder Woman movie with Gal Gadot.

Gadot was the surprise choice for the female role in Dawn of Justice though Warners are clearly buoyed by the Israeli actress's performances in the forthcoming movie. Maybe Marvel should take note and finally announce a Black Widow movie with Scarlett Johansson.

With Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman all making solid appearances in 2016's 'Batman v Superman' movie, we can't help but wonder who else will be joining the Justice League. Right now, our bets are on Scoot McNairy as The Flash.

The casting announcements for Zack Snyder's 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' have been both thoroughly exciting and extremely surprising. Of course, we knew Henry Cavill would return as the Man of Steel, we spent hours pondering who could play Wonder Woman before Gal Gadot was chosen and we were pleased on the announcement of Ben Affleck taking over Christian Bale as the Dark Knight. Rumours are still circulating that Jason Momoa might be joining the team as Aquaman, but the thing we're most excited for at the moment are recent whispers of Scoot McNairy taking on The Flash.

'Batman V Superman' Against 'Captain America 3': Who Would Have Prevailed?

Ben Affleck Christopher Nolan Henry Cavill

The collaboration of Batman and Superman, two of DC Comics most intense superheroes, has been a project highly anticipated for fans all over the globe for some years now. With Batman’s tortured past and complex present depicted magnificently in Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy and Superman’s difficulties in combining his Krypton heritage and his life on Earth given dramatic integrity in Zack Synder’s Man of Steel, in the film which combined the two, the stage was set for a motion picture filled with complicated emotions, spectacular drama and a lot of action.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticeThe collaboration of DC Comics Batman and Superman has been widely anticipated

Lead Film Roles That Could Have Looked Very Different

Robert Downey Jr Tom Cruise Halle Berry Vanessa Williams Daniel Day Lewis Liam Neeson Christian Bale Henry Cavill

With Robert Downey Jr fitting so perfectly as likeable irritant Tony Stark, Christian Bale slipping so easily into the tortured billionaire psyche of Bruce Wayne and Daniel Day-Lewis transforming himself into the epitome of Abraham Lincoln, it's hard to believe that for all of the above roles, there were some serious previous contenders. But contenders there were and some of the not entirely savoury.

Tom Cruise as Iron Man

The pint-sized action hero made it his mission impossible to kick ass as IMF agent, Ethan Hunt, but could he have romanced Pepper Potts in quite the same way as Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man? It seems like we very nearly found out with Cruise at one point in serious contention to play the arrogant but entertaining genius.

Adam West Approves Of Ben Affleck As Batman

Ben Affleck Adam West Henry Cavill

There are still two years to go before we see Ben Affleck take on the mantel of Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but the argument about the Oscar winner's suitability for the role rages on. Today one very worthy commentator gave his thoughts on the subject- Adam West, who played Batman from 1966 to 1968 in a staggering 120 episodes of the eponymous television series as well as the 1966 film.

Speaking at San Diego Comic Con, West had only compliments for his successor. "My feeling is that Ben Affleck will be really good simply because he's a great talent, and I'd be very interested in seeing him in the role."

He’s standing fully clad in his Superman gear, looking into the camera with a forlorn expression. The whether is pretty terrible; maybe that’s got something to do with it. Or maybe he’s waiting to meet Batman.

It has been confirmed: DC now has its Aquaman and it’s none other than Jason Momoa. The news that Momoa will play the DC Comics superhero Aquaman in both the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and its sequel Justice League was confirmed by Variety, after months of heavy speculation.

Jason Momoa
Momoa cleverly brushed off the Aquaman rumors, right until his contract was confirmed.

Back in December, it was reported that Momoa was in talks to play Aquaman, in addition to the already announced main cast, which includes Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor (that announcement raised a fair few eyebrows) and Jeremy Irons as Alfred.

But who are the Justice League and why should we be excited to see them together on screen?
