Actress Helena Bonham Carter will be the toast of Hollywood later this year (11) when she is honoured at the 2011 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards.
The Oscar-nominated The King's Speech star has been chosen as the British Artist of the Year by the Hollywood branch of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta).
Bonham Carter will join fellow nominee David Yates, the filmmaker of her latest movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, who will receive the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing.
Director and animator John Lasseter will also be honoured for Worldwide Contributions to Filmed Entertainment.
The Britannia Awards will take place on 30 November (11) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
