Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt turned down ''a couple of million'' to star in a pornographic film.

Spencer admits he ''considered'' the X-rated pay day, but his wife - who he previously starred alongside on MTV show 'The Hills' - rejected the offer without hesitation, insisting ''money isn't everything''.

The 29-year-old hunk explained: ''We were offered a couple of million. I considered it. Heidi was like, err no!

Heidi added: ''Money isn't everything.''

The couple are currently starring on UK reality show 'Celebrity Big Brother', and Spencer admits he and Heidi, 26, ''debated'' whether or not they should have sex on the show, but they decided their antics would be too rude for TV.

When asked whether they would be prepared to have sex in the house, he replied: ''I don't think they're paying us enough! We've been offered so much to make a porno film, if we're going to do it on camera we should get millions. We've debated and we think it's kind of lewd for the house.''

In 2010, the couple faked their own divorce and later admitted it was a publicity stunt, but the reality stars insist they will ''never'' revert to such tactics again to ensure they remain in the public eye.

Heidi added to OK! magazine: ''We'll never play that game again though. We're not going to pretend. It's one game we're not playing.''
