Hayley Atwell will star in 'Ant-Man'.

The 'Captain America: The First Avenger' actress has been confirmed as a cast member for the Marvel Studios film, according to Project Casting.

The casting call website is seeking a stand-in actress for the 32-year-old star in order to complete stunts and other scenes during filming for the movie.

It was recently confirmed that the actress will return to 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' for an episode titled 'The Things We Bury' in the show's second season, to reprise her role as Peggy Carter, the character she will also appear as in the upcoming movie.

'Knocked Up' actor Paul Rudd will star as the title character in the movie, which is based on the comic book of the same name and follows his struggle to help mentor Dr. Hank Pym - played by 70-year-old 'Last Vegas' actor Michael Douglas - pull off a mission to save the world.

Other actors set to feature in the blockbuster include 'The Hobbit' star Evangeline Lilly and 'House of Cards' actor Corey Stoll.

The much-anticipated new film will open in cinemas in July 2015.
