Halle Berry and Garbriel Aubry just haven't seemed to figure out the best way to peacefully share custody of their 6-year-old daughter Nahla, and the Hollywood star was at odds with the Canadian model once again - this time over their child's hairstyle.

On Monday morning (Nov 24th), attorneys for Berry and Aubry were in court for a dispute over Nahla's hair being straightened and highlighted when she is in her father's care, TMZ reports. The 48 year-old actress apparently believes the 39 year-old model, who is white, is attempting to make Nahla appear less African American.

Berry is the daughter of a white mother and a black father.

After a lot of back-and-forth arguing between the two legal teams, the judge ordered that neither parent is allowed to try and change Nahla's natural hair appearance, texture and colour.

The pair have basically co-parented Nahla since their split back in 2010, but it hasn't been the easiest of times. Berry and Aubry were engaged in long and tumultuous custody battle, which included Aubry successfully denying the Oscar winner's request to move Nahla to France with her new partner Olivier Martinez.

Furthermore, earlier this year Berry was ordered to maintain a monthly child support payment of $16,000 to Aubry until Nahla graduates from high school or turns 19 years-old back in June. However, at the start of this month, Berry requested the amount be reduced to around $3,800 a month.

Apart from their shared daughter, Berry has little to do with Aubry, and is now the mother of two other children with her actor husband, Martinez.
