It's Dark Times For The X-Men In 'Days Of Future Past.'
Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Halle Berry, Nicholas Hoult, and Peter Dinklage all star in the action epic, which is due for release in May.
Following its 2010 release, Frankie & Alice finally gets its well deserved nationwide bow.
It’s been a relatively quiet few years for Halle Berry on the movie front – her role in Cloud Atlasbeing the last ‘big’ one before X-Men: Days of Future Past (due May 2014). But in Frankie and Alice, she gets the chance to fulfil a role close to her heart. But Berry actually filmed this film a whopping 6 years ago in 2008, while the 2010 release date only applied to Europe.
Having been shelved, Frankie & Alice finally finds itself hitting U.S shores following a limited release to allow it to compete in the awards scene. The film – based on a true story – sees Berry star as a go-go dancer with a dissociative identity disorder. Her alter egos include a 7-year-old child named Genius and a Southern racist woman named Alice, who also happens to be white. In a bid to cure the voices in her head, Frankie visits a top psychotherapist, played by Stellan Skarsgard.

Frankie is a troubled African American go-go dancer in the 70s who begins a mental struggle when she repeatedly forgets large chunks of her life. She finds a crossword filled out in childish handwriting and an expensive designer dress in her wardrobe she doesn't remember purchasing among the various confusing clues suggesting there's something wrong. She is suffering from dissociative identity disorder (DID), more commonly known as multiple personality disorder, in which she possesses two alter-egos. One of them is Genius, a smart young child, while the other is the unashamedly racist Alice who appears to be a white woman with a Southern American accent. Unable to link these personalities together herself, the people around her - from friends and family to conquests and the authorities - are becoming desperately confused with her unpredictable behaviour and she is referred to a doctor who is determined to bring her out of her debilitating ordeal.

Razzie 'favourite' Adam Sandler is up for yet another Worst Actor gong and newbies Selena Gomez and Lady Gaga earn their first nods
It's awards season, which means it is the time when the stars of Hollywood gather together to congratulate themselves on another successful year of moviemaking. It is also the period when some of Hollywood's more questionable tastes are exposed and then routinely mocked, thanks to the annual Golden Raspberry Awards.
All of the Grown Ups 2 cast are up for an award, but it is Sandler who earns the most recognition
An established 'favourite' with the Razzies committee, Adam Sandler is up for his 19th, 20th and 21st Razzie nomination and might make it three Worst Actor wins in a row, with his role in Grown Ups 2 up against Johnny Depp in The Lone Ranger, Ashton Kutcher in Jobs, Jaden Smith in After Earth and Sylvester Stallone for pretty much all of his movies from 2013; Bullet to the Head, Escape Plan, and Grudge Match.
Jake Gylenhaal punched a mirror on Wednesday and was rushed to an LA hospital. The 32-year-old actor was in character when the incident occurred. Yet suffering serious physical and psychological injuries are less common in the acting profession than you may think.
Jake Gyllenhaal was forced to visit the emergency room on Wednesday (13th November) after punching a mirror on the set of his upcoming drama, Nightcrawler.
Gyllenhaal was so embroiled in the scene he cut his hand and was taken to hospital.
The actor was filming an "emotionally charged" scene when he seems to have got carried away and smashed a mirror. A source, speaking to People, explained what happened: "Jake flipped out, his character was looking into a mirror during the scene and punched the mirror in anger and broke it, cutting himself so bad he had to be taken to a hospital."

The Thor sequel pulled in $8.7 million over its debut weekend in the UK - more than four times the amount that it's nearest rival grossed - and with Ender's Game the vulnerable reigning champion of the stateside box-office, things are looking good for Tom Hiddleston, Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman this weekend. Read our Thor 2 review here.
So, relax, grab yourself a cool drink and mull over our list of the Top 10 Marvel movies. Do you agree?

In a post-apocalyptic world where mutants are now scarce, Charles Xavier must convince Wolverine to travel back in time to warn Xavier's younger self about their impending disaster-struck world. Magneto is also united with his fellow mutants, as now all their kind must stick together if they want to survive a world that they are no longer welcome in. Previously, the battle between humankind and X-Men caused the attempted assassination of an important political figure, something that Wolverine must control as he goes back to instil some knowledge into the much more reckless X-Men of the 1980s.

Celebrities such as Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner pushed for the new bill, which will impose strict regulations on photographing celebrities and their children
It was a good day for celebrity parents on Tuesday, 24 September, after California Senator Kevin de Leon passed the SB606 Bill into legislation. The new law will place tighter sanctions against paparazzi in the state of California, prohibiting them from taking photographs of celebrities and their children, without prior consent to do so. The law will enforce tougher repercussions on any photographers who are found breaking these new restrictions.
Sen. Kevin de Leon is being praised by celebrities for enforcing the tougher sanctions against the press
A number of well-known stars had pushed for the bill to be entered into state law, and Sen. de Leon has been praised for enforcing the tougher legislative restrictions on photographers. The new law will boost penalties for actions that include taking photos and video of a child without parental consent and will also impose tougher sanctions against anyone who is considered to behaving in a harassing manner whilst photographing stars. The new law has not been passed solely for the protection of celebrities either, as de Leon said that he hoped the new law would help protect the children of law enforcement officials and other children who may be susceptible to harassment due to the profession of their parents.
After this unusually well-made thriller builds suspense to almost unbearable levels, the filmmakers nearly throw everything away with a gear-change so contrived that we can't help but laugh. It's one of those ill-conceived final acts that seems to have been written by a focus group that wanted to see something "satisfying" on screen even if it violates the integrity of the entire story. Fortunately the cast is good enough to get away with it.
Most of the story takes place in a Los Angeles emergency call centre, where Jordan (Berry) receives a horrific call from a teen girl who's being stalked in her own home. And Jordan blames herself for the violence that follows. Six months later, she has removed herself to a training job, but gets roped in when another teen, Casey (Breslin), calls in panic from the boot of a moving car. This is clearly the same villain (Eklund) as before, and Jordan does everything she can to help Casey both survive and reveal her location. Along the way Jordan's assisted by a passerby (Imperioli) as well as her cop ex-boyfriend (Chestnut).
So far so good, as both Jordan's and Casey's perspectives ratchet up the emotional intensity. The kidnapper is seriously deranged and oddly difficult to track as time runs out. And here's where the film jumps the rail: Jordan takes matters into her own hands, heading out into danger without bothering to call for back-up. This sets up a rather terrifying final showdown that would have been much more involving if we could believe it.

The diva has gotten rid of her famous locks in favour of the much shorter number, debuting the look on Instagram last night
Beyonce is the latest star to try out the ever-popular 'pixie' look, as the singer has chopped off her once flowing locks in favour of a much easier to handle look. The star uploaded a trio of images showing off her new look to her Instagram page yesterday (8 August) and since then it has been awash with comments from fans and onlookers, with some praising the new look as a revelation, whilst other think it is a major fashion misstep.
Beyonce showed off her new look on Instagram this week
The 'Crazy In Love' pop diva debuted the look on her Instagram, posting three un-captioned images of herself, but what is it about this new look that means so much? Usually when a star chops off their locks, it is done in a bid to reinvent themselves and cast off a previous image - ala Rihanna and Emma Watson - so is this new look a nod in the direction of her alter ego Sasha Fierce, or is this a new persona emerging from Bey? Maybe it has nothing to do with a statement at all, and after her near miss with an electric fan during a recent Toronto show, perhaps Bey just fancied something different when se last visited her hairdresser.

The pair tied the knot in a private ceremony in the French countryside.
Halle Berry’s wedding was always likely to be an intimate affair, and that’s how the star ultimately had it, when she married fiancé Olivier Martinez this past Saturday. Us magazine first reported on the couple’s very private ceremony at Chateau des Conde in Vallery, France.
First comes love, then comes marriage...
"White marquees were put up, and everyone was very discreet because it was a show business wedding," a local tells Us of the nuptials, which also made use of several white limousines. "But generally it was pretty down-to-earth."
It seems to have been the weekend for celebrity weddings. Halle Berry married Olivier Martinez in Vallery, France whilst Jimmy Kimmel tied the knot with Molly McNearey in Ojai, California.
Halle Berry married Olivier Martinez this weekend, according to reports in E! The ceremony appears to have taken place at the Chateau des Conde in Vallery, France. Photographs of guests arriving at the ceremony and the couple in their wedding car are likely signs the couple did finally tie the knot. Berry is a stickler for details and promised the wedding would only be "very small", as she said in an interview with InStyle magazine.

A continent away but on the same day (Saturday 13th July), Jimmy Kimmel and Molly McNearey had a larger ceremony with their 300 guests including Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Matt Damon, Jennifer Aniston, Louis Theroux and Emily Blunt.
Actress Halle Berry has married for the third time with Olivier Martinez in a highly secretive ceremony in France.
The rumours were true! An expectant Halle Berry has wed French actor Olivier Martinez after being snapped catching a departing flight on Wednesday with Berry's daughter Nahla in tow. The couple reportedly had wanted to leave for France for good, taking Nahla with them to start their new family in Europe but a legal tussle with Berry's ex and Nahla's father, Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, prevents them from putting down roots outside the US.
Pregnant Halle Berry Weds For Third Time.
The pair are now believed to have gotten hitched at a chateau in Vallery, Burgundy - a pictureseque region in central France, according to French Pure People magazine, via People Magazine. Apparently the extremely exclusive ceremony took place at the breathtaking Chateau des Conde, after a civil union was held in the village. It is not known what ties Berry or Martinez have with the small wine-making town but a pregnant Berry was pictured wearing a sparkling white gown in a vintage Citroen car that had been decorated with white veils. Aside from exchanging vows, privacy was top of the pair's agenda with police assembled to keep onlookers away from the venue and security staff holding up white sheets to prevent any photography. Only 60 guests were in attendance to enjoy an intimate, romantic ceremony followed by dinner, and a fireworks display in the evening to herald the couple's new chapter.

Mum-to-be Halle Berry is rumoured to be getting married to Olivier Martinez this weekend, but could the stories be true?
Actress Halle Berry is rumoured to be getting hitched to her fiancé, French actor Olivier Martinez, this very weekend! According to E! News, the couple, along with Halle's daughter Nahla, were spotted leaving LAX airport yesterday (10th July) and are said to be gearing up to tie the knot soon. Not only are the pair engaged and soon to be married but they're also nesting up as Berry is pregnant with her second child and son - her first was with French Canadian model Gabriel Aubry - and she looked radiant and calm as they encountered paparazzi on their way through the Los Angeles airport.
Halle Berry With Fiancé Olivier Martinez...And Bump!
Little Nahla looks like she's quite taken to the idea of Martinez being her new stepfather: she was snapped snuggling up to him as the trio headed towards their departing flight. Berry and Martinez had planned to move to France with Nahla to start their new family there but, according to The Daily Mail, a custody agreement between Berry and Aubry means that they must remain living in the US. Last year's Thanksgiving holiday, the two men tried to talk about the custody issues in what culminated in a street brawl leaving both in hospital, People reports, and an emergency protection order was issued meaning Aubry had to stay 100 yards away from Martinez, Berry, and his daughter Nahla at all times.

Halle Berry has described her latest pregnancy as "a miracle."
A glowing Halle Berry headed out into the West Hollywood on Sunday (May 12, 2013) for a Mother's Day meal with fiance Olivier Martinez and 5-year-old daughter Nahla. The X-Men: Days of Future Past actress showed off her growing baby bump in a floaty tie-dye maxi dress with low-cut neckline, reports Us Weekly.
The family held hands as they arrived at Riva Bella in restaurant for a fancy meal, with Nahla looking every inch the future star in a colourful sundress. French actor Martinez, who's encountered a few run-ins with the paparazzi in recent months, was again looking pretty stern and appeared to tell photographers to back-off as he, Halle and Nahla entered the restaurant. On Saturday, Berry had attended the 20th Annual EIF Revlon Run/Walk For Women event at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (check out the pictures below) where she briefly chatted to reporters about her second pregnancy. "I'm thinking that this is a miracle," she told Entertainment Tonight. "I feel really happy. It's one of the best things that happened in my life, for sure."
Berry, who became embroiled in a nasty custody battle for Nahla with former beau Gabriel Aubry, announced she was expecting her second child in April. "This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth," she confessed to CNN. "Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful."

Halle Berry admits she was shocked to discover she was pregnant, though says it's "wonderful" news.
Halle Berry says she "feels fantastic" after discovering she is to become a mother for the second time at 46. The Oscar-winning actress and fiance Olivier Martinez are expecting their first child together, which the Monster's Ball star said was a "big surprise" though "wonderful news."
"I feel fantastic. This has been the biggest surprise of my life to tell you the truth," said Berry during an interview with CNN's Alina Cho. In the interview - primarily used to promote her work with designer Michael Kors and the U.N. World Food Programme to fight hunger - Berry said she was shocked at the pregnancy. "I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful," she added. Some media outlets have reported that Berry is expecting a baby boy, though the actress insists she does not know the gender of her baby.
Berry has been engaged to Martinez - the former boyfriend of Kylie Minogue - for over a year now. She is already a mother to daughter Nahla, 5, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry though the pair have been locked in a bitter custody battle. Berry was ready to move to France with Nahla and Olivier, though Aubry blocked the movie. The estranged couple reached a settlement in November.

Halle Berry hopes to use her pregnancy to educate
Halle Berry has admitted to being surprised when she found out she was pregnant, but says she’s feeling pretty good while talking to CNN during a charity project she and designer Michael Kors are undertaking called Watch Hunger Stop.
"I feel fantastic. This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth. Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it's been a big surprise and the most wonderful," she told CNN. Berry – who is expecting a child with fiancé Olivier Martinez – will be working on a charity project that will see children provided with meals through the U.N. World Food Programme, and she hopes to travel to the locations where food will be delivered. "I hope we go while I'm pregnant, so I can talk about prenatal care. And I will have time off," she added. "I'm not working right now. It's so important to me, being a mom, that I can help educate women on how important it is that when you have a healthy child, it helps set them up for life."

The expectant mother showed off her new figure around NY yesterday.
Halle Berry is pregnant with Baby Berry number 2! The announcement that the 46-year-old star is expecting was made by her rep on Friday: “We can confirm that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are expecting a child,” confirmed the rep for E! News. “We will not be commenting on or confirming any additional details.”
Berry, who is already a mother to 4-year-old Nahla, is reportedly ecstatic about the future baby herself. “Halle and Olivier are really excited,” a source said. “It’s a blessing. They can’t wait to have a baby together.” Yesterday, just one day after the announcement, the actress was already flaunting the makings of a baby bump around town. Berry was shot in New York sporting dark aviators, an open coat, tunic top and the bare beginnings of a baby bulge. True, her modest first trimester pregnancy belly was no match for expectant mother Kim Kardashian’s, for example, but when you’re working with abs like Berry’s, there’s probably not that much room for expansion anyway. Not to be shallow, but that kid is coming from one heck of a gene pool.
We here at Contactmusic would like to wish the expectant parents an easy pregnancy and a healthy and happy baby and, as per the actress's requests, few encounters with the paparazzi. Any bets on little Berry’s sex?

It's been a rough week for Justin Bieber, though arguably a tougher couple of days for Ashton Kutcher, Jay-Z and company, who found their bank details leaked all over the internet.
Bieber Blues: What is happening to Justin Bieber? The former loveable scamp appears to have become a target for the tabloids, especially the British ones. He endured a torrid time in London before cancelling a show in Portugal, apparently owing to poor ticket sales. Is this a crisis?
Credit Check: Ever wondered how much Ashton Kutcher has in the bank? How about Jay-Z, Mel Gibson, Hillary Clinton, Arnold Schwarzenegger or even Joe Biden. Well, one hacker - seemingly based in Russia - has posted the financial details of the world's biggest stars onto a hastily made website. Some of the numbers are big. Huge, in fact.
Mad geniuses Tom Tykwer (Perfume) and the Wachowski siblings (The Matrix) boldly take on David Mitchell's layered epic novel, which connects six generations through the power of storytelling. The film takes so many huge risks that it's breathtaking to watch even when it stumbles. And as each tale is passed on to the next generation, the swirling themes get under the skin.
The six stories are interlinked in a variety of ways, transcending time to find common themes. On a ship in 1849, a seriously ill American lawyer (Sturgess) shows kindness to a stowaway ex-slave (Gyasi). In 1936 Edinburgh, a great composer (Broadbent) hires a musician (Whishaw) to transcribe his work, then tries to steal the young man's magnificent Cloud Atlas symphony. In 1973 San Francisco, a Latina journalist (Berry) gets a tip about dodgy goings on in a local nuclear power plant. In present-day London, a publisher (Broadbent) is trapped in a nursing home by his brother (Grant) and plots a daring escape. In 2144 Neo Soul, an official (D'Arcy) interrogates a replicant (Bae) who started a rebellion alongside a notorious rebel (Sturgess). And in a distant stone-age future, an island goatherd (Hanks) teams up with an off-worlder (Berry) when they're attacked by a warlord (Grant).
While the themes in this film are eerily involving, what makes this film unmissable is the way the entire cast turns up in each of the six story strands, changing age, race and gender along the way. Even so, they're essential variations on each other. Weaving is always a nemesis, whether he's a hitman, a demon or a nasty nurse. Hanks' characters are always strong-willed and often badly misguided. Grant goes against type to play sinister baddies. And D'Arcy is the only actor who plays the same character in two segments, as Whishaw's 1930s young lover and Berry's 1970s elderly informant. Meanwhile, each segment plays with a different genre: seafaring epic, twisted drama, political mystery, action comedy, sci-fi thriller and gritty adventure.

A collection of random shorts that focus mainly on idiotic male behaviour, this portmanteau comedy is only occasionally amusing, never making anything of its astonishing cast. Frankly, we spend most of the time wondering how the filmmakers lured these A-listers to appear in these pointless, nasty little films. And while the premises have potential, not a single one has a decent punchline.
As a prank, two teens make up a banned online film called Movie 43. While their brainly little brother searches for it, he runs across a series of clips that mainly focus on awkward vulgarity between the sexes. Bitter exes (Culkin and Stone) have a rude exchange that's broadcast on a supermarket sound system. Pratt is shocked when his girlfriend (Faris) asks him to "poop" on her, and agrees because he loves her. Parents (Watts and Schreiber) homeschool their teen son (White) with the goal of showing him how excruciating life will be. Two pals (Scott and Knoxville) kidnap a leprechaun (Butler) who's reluctant to give them his gold. And a 1950s basketball coach (Howard) tries to convince his players that they're winners because they're black.
Others are dating scenarios: Winslet goes on a blind date with a guy (Jackman) who has testicles on his neck; Berry and Merchant play an increasingly deranged game of Truth or Dare in a Mexican restaurant; a pre-teen (Bennett) can't cope when his young date (Moretz) has her first period; Batman (Sudeikis) messes up Robin's (Long) attempt at speed-dating; Banks struggles to cope with her new boyfriend's (Duhamel) obsessive cartoon cat. There are also a few random advert spoofs, including one for the naked-woman shaped iBabe, which leads to trouble for the company CEO (Gere).

Rihanna was forced to call the cops at her home in Barbados on Sunday (December 23, 2012) after a man trespassed onto the property. Barbados Police confirm that they received a call after a man believed to be a German national wandered onto the private beachfront estate.
Though it is assumed the man intended no harm to the superstar singer, the incident clearly unnerved Rihanna and she waited anxiously while police arrived. By the time authorities conducted a sweep of the property, the man had made a hasty retreat though was later snapped on the beach by TMZ.com. Police say they do not believe the man is a stalker, though they want to have a chat with him to determine his reasoning for trespassing on the lavish estate.
The Sun newspaper presented a very different version of events, claiming the man got within 10ft of Rihanna before she spotted him. A witness said, "The guy got to within about 10 to 12ft of where Rihanna was sitting before he was apprehended by security. He looked fairly harmless but it was a little too close for comfort."

At least this gives Halle something to look forward to, should she be fearing her Christmas celebrations go the same way as her Thanksgiving festivities went.
It's been a tough week for everyone surrounding Halle Berry and her daughter Nahla. On Thanksgiving last Thursday (Nov. 22nd) Berry's current fiancee Olivier Martinez and, her ex, father of Nahla, Gabriel Aubry, had a horrific brawl that left Aubry's face battered and bruised, and Martinez's hand in a splint. Pretty Nasty. However, the sun is on the horizon as Aubry was reunited with his beloved daughter today, according to TMZ.
Both Martinez and Aubry ended up firstly in hospital and later in the police station on Thursday, and since then both parties have taken out emergency restraining orders on one another. The whole argument began due to a custody battle between Halle and Aubry, because Halle wants to take Nahla over to Paris where she and Olivier plan to live together, effectively ripping Aubry from his daughter. The judge, of course, agreed with Aubry that this idea was preposterous and did not grant that right to Berry.
On the 29th of November they reached an agreement which meant the restraining orders were dropped and have enabled Aubry to see Nahla again. Clair Berk, Halle Berry's legal representative said, "The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter." Wild Berries: Halle Berry had her Thanksgiving pretty much ruined last week by boyfriend Olivier Martinez and ex-beau Gabriel Aubry, who thought it a decent idea to start punching the lights out of each another on the actress' driveway. Luckily, police are unlikely to take their investigation further, which is probably in everyone's best interest.
Jenny Takes Brown Down? Plucky TV personality Jenny Johnson took Chris Brown to task on Twitter this week in a pretty humorous exchange of tweets. Most gave the Emmy winner the edge in the cyber-battle and Brown subsequently shut down his profile page!
Halle Berry's current fiancee, Olivier Martinez, and he ex-beau and father of her daughter, Gabriel Aubry had an enormous fight last Thursday (22nd Nov. 2012), Thanksgiving, of all days, which left both men in hospital and later in the police station. Furthermore, since then, both parties having taken out protective restraining orders against each other and each are waging entirely different stories against one another.
TMZ broke photos of Aubry's face which really has been beaten to a pulp. Ironically, this entire dispute is in aid of love for Nahla, Halle's daughter. Halle had been trying to get full custody of their daughter, wanting to emigrate to Paris with Martinez. Naturally, the father, Aubry, was having none of it and the court granted in favour of Aubry, ordering that Nahla had to keep residence in the USA.
Halle Berry isn't the first celebrity to have a very public and very messy custody battle. Back in 2006 when Britney Spears had her 'wobble' she and her then husband Kevin Federline had an enormous dispute over their two boys, which unusually lead to the father, Federline, having full custody. Not in the least surprising given Britney's behaviour at the time. Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee's custody battle was also bloody, as Pam accused Lee of being an abusive drunk and that he knowingly gave her Hep C, which remains unproven. Earlier this year Kelly Rutherford, of Gossip Girl fame, had her children taken from her as her ex Daniel Giersch was given custody and took her children to France where he lives, as ABC reported at the time.
“We have to move on.” These, it would seem, were the words – spoken by Halle Berry’s fiancé Olivier Martinez – that caused her ex-partner Gabriel Aubry to fly into a rage and assault Martinez at their home on Thanksgiving Day.
TMZ first reported on the incident and now they’ve learned that Halle is taking no chances and will be going to court early this week, to instigate a restraining order against Aubry, the father of her four year-old daughter Nahla.
Sources have told TMZ that Halle is alarmed about Gabriel starting a fight with Olivier right in front of Nahla. A judge issued an emergency protection order against Gabriel, which prevents him from getting any closer than 200 yards to Halle, but that will expire on Tuesday and it seems that the Oscar-winning actress wishes for more permanent measures to be put in place. Halle Berry’s lawyers will reportedly be in a family court as soon as possible, asking for an extension to be placed on the order, for “an indefinite period of time.”

Olivier Martinez and Gabriel Aubry apparently came to blows over Thanksgiving dinner at Halle Berry's home yesterday (Nov 22), with the two love rivals playing fisticuffs with each other after a heated argument got nasty.
According to TMZ, it was Aubry, Halle's ex and father to their daughter Nahla who threw the first punches of the night, but it was still he who ended up geting knocked out cold (depending on who you believe) and Aubry who got to spend the rest of Thanksgiving in police company. Although it still being disputed as to whether Gabriel was in fact knocked out, we do know that he suffered a broken rib, contusions on his face, and possibly a more serious head injury. Meanwhile, Olivier may have broken his hand and suffered neck injuries, but still emerged victorious.
Olivier then made a citizen's arrest against Gabriel, pinning him to the ground until police arrived. Gabriel was escorted to the local ER and only a few hours later was joined by Olivier, who get his injuries treated just down the hall from where Gabriel was. As of now, Gabriel has been released from police custody, having had his bail set at $20,000 only a few moments before.
Wow, Halle Berry certainly had an eventful thanksgiving. The Hollywood star was forced to stand back and watch as the father of her child Gabriel Aubry brawled with current squeeze Olivier Martinez at her Los Angeles home. Aubry was arrested on Thursday morning (November 22, 2012), while French actor Martinez was hospitalized.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ.com that Gabriel showed up at Berry's house with daughter Nahla for a standard custodial hand-off. The model was still on the driveway when Martinez walked up to him and said "We have to move on." According to eyewitnesses, Gabriel pushed Olivier before trying to punch him in the face. The Frenchman blocked the swipe before Aubry pushed him to the ground and hit him in the head. The tussle ended with Martinez gaining the upper hand and pinning Gabriel to the ground. The male supermodel suffered a broken rib and contusions to his face while Olivier was left with a broken hand and neck injuries. Some reports suggest Martinez knocked Aubry unconscious in the fight, though it was the model who was arrested. Both ended up in ER at the same time, getting treatment just down the hall from each other!
Sources say a judge has issued an emergency protective order which requires Aubry to stay 100 yards away from Halle, Olivier and Nahla. Less than 24 hours before the brawl, Gabriel was seen out with Nahla at The Grove shopping complex, catching a movie. Perhaps it was Rocky. The bloody fight caps a year of legal battles between Berry and Nahla regarding the custody of their daughter.
