Ellen DeGeneres quizzed the singer on her future plans with boyfriend Blake.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are not about to get married, at least that’s what Gwen’s saying. The former coach on ‘The Voice’ laughed off rumours she was set to walk down the aisle again, when she was put in the hot seat by Ellen DeGeneres on Thursday.
Gwen says she's not about to marry Blake anytime soon
Appearing on the talk show, Ellen told Gwen: “I’m so glad y’all are so happy. Before I make plans, because I make plans way ahead of time, tell me when you’re getting married because I need to know. I just need to know so I can clear that schedule.”
Laughing, Gwen replied, “Oh, you're crazy.” Ellen then told the No Doubt singer to let her know when the wedding was happening and Gwen promised that she’d let her in on it. Gwen also discussed her ‘crazy year’, which saw her hit the road with her three young sons in tow.
"I was so guilty because they worked so hard at school all year and then I'm going to drag 'em around on a bus all summer, but they had the best time," she said. However being on a tour bus with three young boys was pretty chaotic.
"I mean, we're on a bus. It's a lot,” she said. “Can you imagine three little boys on a bus after you do a show? Like, 'get to bed! It's exhausting, but it was fun.” Gwen had never toured with her sons before and said she enjoyed seeing fans at the show who also had their kids with them.
The singer said she especially got a kick out of the tattooed dads she’d spot in crowd. “They’d probably been old school No Doubt fans—with their daughter on their shoulders, like their first show,” she said. “The whole thing was full circle and magical.”
