During a new radio interview, Stefani denied recent reports that wedding bells are imminent.
Gwen Stefani has laughed off recent rumours that she and her new boyfriend Blake Shelton are planning to get married.
Ever since she and the country music star got together at the end of last year, soon after she divorced her husband of more than a decade Gavin Rossdale, the two have been enjoying what looks like a whirlwind romance from the outside. Naturally, this has got internet and tabloid gossip columns working overtime on a number of stories of various degrees of plausibility – including one that claims she’s pregnant.

However, the 46 year old former No Doubt singer, currently on tour promoting her new album This Is What the Truth Feels Like, rang in to 94.7 Fresh FM’s ‘The Tommy Show’ on Wednesday to talk about her upcoming shows. After a while, talk naturally turned to the recent rumours, upon which Stefani promptly put the dampener.
“Let's just take it one day at a time,” she said about the prospect of wedding bells in the near future. “Everything's crazy right now so no, absolutely not.”

39 year old Shelton recently went through his own divorce, breaking up with fellow musician Miranda Lambert less than a year ago. Things have been going well between them, with both of them performing a duet on ‘The Voice’ and then at the Billboard Music Awards over the last month.
“Can you imagine the amount of gossip-y, weird stories people make up?” she said about the massive media exposure her relationship has generated, specifically Us Weekly’s report that the two of them were talking about having children together.
“To me, it makes me laugh every day. I actually do Google my name just so I can see the next one that's gonna happen, because it's gotten so out of control. The best part about it is it's hilarious; the worst part about it is that some people actually believe that stuff like that is what's funny,” she reflected.
