Rapper Gucci Mane is facing a lawsuit from U.S. concert promoters over allegations the star double booked himself with two gigs on the same night.

Executives at Empire Entertainment claim they hired the hip-hop star, real name Radric Davis, to perform a gig for them in Little Rock, Arkansas on 22 November (12), but he reportedly cut short his set and raced 138 miles (222 kilometres) to play a second show at a nightclub in Tennessee.

They have filed suit accusing him of breach of contract and fraud, according to Tmz.com.

Website editors report the promoters are demanding the return of Mane's $22,500 (£15,000) fee plus reimbursement for the money they spent on his hotel and travel expenses.
