Veteran rocker Gregg Allman has bounced back from bronchitis and plans to return to the stage at a festival in Florida.
The Allman Brothers Band had to postpone a number of gigs at New York City's iconic Beacon Theatre after the star fell sick with the respiratory illness, but he has now confirmed he is on the road to recovery.
Allman plans to make his return with the band at the upcoming Wanee Festival in Live Oak, Florida, which runs from 10-12 April (14), and then head to Australia for a solo tour.
A statement from the rocker reads, "I feel almost 100 per cent following my bout with bronchitis. I look forward to seeing the Allman Brothers Band fans at the Wanee Festival April 10-12, and I cannot wait for my first trip to Australia with my solo band to meet my down under fans."
