Fact: George Clooney and his producing partner Grant Heslov have scored the remake rights for acclaimed European thriller Pioneer. The Norwegian film, set in the 1980s, was directed by Erik Skjoldbjaerg and became a hit at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival in Canada. It starred Aksel Hennie and American actors Wes Bentley and Stephen Lang.
