The clothing brand made the announcement on Tuesday (Sept 2nd) by uploading a YouTube teaser video that showed Bundchen sporting Under Amour gear while walking into an empty loft with a heavy bag hanging from the ceiling. It ends with the caption "I WILL WHAT I WANT" and hints of another announcement taking place on Thursday.

The 34 year-old supermodel, whose husband signed a lucrative deal with the brand years ago that includes a minority ownership stake, will be part of Under Amour's women's campaign that already includes ballerina Misty Copeland, skier Lindsey Vonn, soccer player Kelley O'Hara and tennis player Sloane Stephens, according to ESPN.

The acquisition of Bundchen will have most likely been harder to secure than the other female athletes as she landed the No.1 spot on Forbes' annual list of the world's highest-paid models for the eight year in a row, last month. Bundchen earned $47 million in the last twelve months after securing lucrative ad campaigns for the likes of Chanel, H&M, and Carolina Herrera. Last December (2013), she was also announced as the new face for hair care brand Pantene.
