George Clooney And Amal Clooney Bring Style To 'Tomorrowland' Premiere [Photos]

The 'Tomorrowland' premiere turned out a lot of stars on the red carpet this weekend, with George Clooney bringing along his wife (predictably - this couple seems joined at the hip!) Amal Clooney as well as her angel-faced teenage daughter Mia Alamuddin.

Mr. Clooney was his usual dashing self as he hit the premiere of his latest movie, Disney fantasy 'Tomorrowland', suavely dressed in a black suit and chest-bearing black shirt, while wife Amal took chic to a new level with a youthful black and pink number - complete with shades to block out those rays, of course.

Clooney looked dashing as ever on the red carpet

Female lead Britt Robertson went bright and summery in a dress of black, white and red, with her blonde locks tied up in a messy bun and a slick of red lipstick. The actress is also starring in the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks romance 'The Longest Ride' with Scott Eastwood; a movie which hit US theaters in April.

'Tomorrowland' sees Robertson play Casey Newton; a rebellious teen with a passion for invention, whose spot of trouble leads her to glimpse in incredible futuristic world of science and opportunity. She is enlisted by an ageing scientist named Frank Walker (played by George Clooney) to take a trip to Tomorrowland and change the world, while avoiding some villainous adversaries along the way.

Also appearing in the movie is Kathryn Hahn as Ursula; a mysterious character which has been described as a 'scene-stealing role'. Best known for starring in 2000s series 'Crossing Jordan', Hahn's most recent film ventures also include 'The D Train' and 'She's Funny That Way'.

Another secretive addition to the cast was country singer Tim Mcgraw; it's not entirely clear what his role will be in the movie, but he seems involved enough to make a star appearance at the premiere in Anaheim, California, alongside his wife of almost 20 years, pop singer Faith Hill. McGraw has yet another greatest hits compilation coming this summer too; entitled '35 Biggest Hits', the tenth hit collection will be released on June 16th 2015.

Double Oscar winning director and co-writer Brad Bird ('The Incredibles', 'Ratatouille') brought along his wife Elizabeth Canney to the premiere. The filmmaker was actually asked to work on 'Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens', but turned down the offer after 'Tomorrowland' came up. He mentioned at the time that it was rare to have the opportunity to direct such a unique film. Indeed, the themes revealed so far are so imaginative, that it's no wonder so much of the detail is being kept under wraps.

'Tomorrowland' is set for cinematic release on May 22nd 2015.
