George Clooney and the London-based lawyer/writer/editor/activist/all-round Renaissance woman Amal Alamuddin are yet to be legally married, but they’ve probably had enough wedding parties, ceremonies and the like to last them a lifetime. One day after they exchanged vows at a symbolic ceremony in Venice (Italy, not Venice Beach), the couple celebrated with two private meals for friends and family.

Ahead of their own festivities, the pair graced the Italian social scene, attending Celebrity Fight Night in support of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation. The event was held at the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center in Florence.

But a party is a party and, neighbors, who overheard the party at Cipriani, reported hearing music in the afternoon, guests cheering and popping bottles of champagne.

Even after their engagement, the couple have kept their relationship low-key.

The day culminated with a dinner party at the Belmond Hotel Cipriani at the Granaries of the Venetian Republic room. E! reported that throughout the day, staffers had been setting up for an evening event that included palm trees, lighting and big speakers for a musical act, which turned out to be French band Parade – the hitmakers behind songs like Stars, Yes You Are and Perfume.
