The Chariot hitmaker has teamed up with Creative Allies, which provides opportunities for aspiring artists to have their work published, for the competition.
The singer wants fans to get inspired by his music and track titles, as well as vintage billboards and classic adverts, to come up with an interesting image that will represent his upcoming concerts.
The contest closes on 17 May (13) and the winner will receive $500 (£327), as well as the chance for their designs to be used for promotional merchandise.
DeGraw took to his Twitter.com page to share his enthusiasm for the project with fans, writing, "These submissions are looking pretty rad. What do you think? Keep 'em (sic) coming."
