A manager for Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson has filed a complaint with Los Angles police officials after the rocker was blasted with a series of violent Twitter.com threats.
A fan, identified as Ray Gunn, allegedly sent members of the Stupid Girl hitmakers crude messages and recently targeted Manson, threatening to kill her.
The group's manager, Paul Kremen, has since reached out to officials at the Los Angles Police Department's Hollywood division to report the follower and he has also obtained a warrant forcing Twitter executives to surrender information relating to the Internet user's identity.
A copy of the warrant, obtained by The Daily Beast, reads, "(Manson) stated that she is in great fear for her and her family's safety due to the nature of the threats, the sheer volume of them and the 'crazy' sounding messages being posted towards her. She stated she has never had anything like this on this level occur to her and she is very frightened and wants the threats to be investigated fully."
Gunn faces felony charges of cyberstalking if convicted.
