Mia Farrow stated her son Ronan Farrow could "possibly" have been fathered by Frank Sinatra. Farrow, who was married to Sinatra from 1966-68, was in a relationship was in a relationship with Woody Allen at the time of her son's birth. In Vanity Fair's November issue, Farrow and her eight children (biological and adopted) discussed their home life and their relationships with their mother's three partners.

Mia Farrow
Mia Farrow claims her son Ronan is "possibly" Frank Sinatra's son.

A DNA test to determine Ronan's paternity has never been undertaken, had Sinatra truly been the father of Ronan, he would have been 73 at the time of his birth. Allen responded "The article is so fictitious and extravagantly absurd that he is not going to comment."

25-year-old Ronan is a human rights activist and journalist. He referenced the current rumours via Twitter, writing "Listen, we're all *possibly* Frank Sinatra's son." However, as reported in Vanity Fair, no DNA tests were ever taken. According to Farrow, Ronan could "possibly" be Sinatra's son as, despite divorcing in 1968, they "never really split up." Such a comment is somewhat insensitive as Sinatra was married to his third wife, Barbara Marx, at the time of Ronan's alleged conception.

Marx has responded to the rumours, stating it is "a phony deal." When contacted by The Desert Sun, Marx further stated "I can't hardly believe that. It's just a bunch of junk. There's always junk written, lies that aren't true."

Sinatra and Marx were married from 1976 until Sinatra's death in 1998. Sinatra had numerous relationships throughout this long career including his first marriage to Nancy Sinatra and his second to actress Ava Gardner. Sinatra married Farrow, his third wife, in 1966 but they divorced 18 months later.

Sinatra had three children, all with his first wife Nancy.  It seems such claims have not damaged the relationship between Sinatra and Farrow's extended and complicated family. It also appears Sinatra's children remain close to Farrow's as Sinatra's daughter, singer Nancy Sinatra, responding in an email to VF; stated Ronan is practically a member of the family that "He is a big part of us, and we are blessed to have him in our lives."
