Director Francis Lawrence was at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival to view the premiere of his new movie 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire'. In a red carpet interview, he talks about his hopes for this sequel, working with the cast and crew and adapting the book.

'One of my hopes was that this movie reaches more people universally', he explains, and adds that he hopes more people are reading the books. 'We really tried to stay true to the spirit and true to the book which we did so I think [the fans will] enjoy that', he later added. Talking about working on the set, he gushes: 'It's such a great group of people, everyone at Lionsgate are fantastic, the producers are fantastic, the cast has been incredible - really talented people, really nice people to be around, it was really fun on set.'
