Foxes guests on the new single by Rudimental, Right Here, lifted from their number one album Home, out now. Further features include a collaboration with Zedd on the US Top 10 smash Clarity, which recently went platinum and whose video was nominated for an MTV VMA, as well as Just One Yesterday, from Fall Out Boy's recent US number one album Save Rock And Roll.
Foxes - aka Louisa Rose Allen - followed her big sister from Southampton to London the day she turned 18. She tried her hand at studying music but dropped out when she realised it wasn't the studying part that she enjoyed. Now 23, she burst into the blogosphere with her Neon Gold Records' debut Youth, and it wasn't long before the song's resplendent synths, industrial percussion and by-turns-searing-and-soaring vocal were the talk of the town. She followed this with its eagerly awaited follow up, the Warrior EP, whose lead tracks Warrior and White Coats had tastemakers on both sides of the Atlantic hot under the collar. Echo - her first single for Sign Of The Times / Sony Music - cashed in on that potential, leading to a spot on the coveted iTunes New Artists 2013 ones to watch list.
