The Odd Life of Timothy Green Trailer

Cindy and Jim Green is a young, married couple who are looking forward to starting a family. They try everything they can but it doesn't work. After the couple find out they can never conceive, it leaves them devastated.

One night, Jim has an idea: to write down the ideal qualities their child would have, Cindy is sceptical at first but soon finds herself caught up imagining what their child would be like. Jim and Cindy write down qualities like never giving up; positivity; scoring the winning goal and rocking.

After spending a fun evening writing their list, Cindy and Jim put it in a box and bury it in their back garden. That night, the normally sleepy village of Stanleyville is rocked by a storm. In the morning, it has died down but has left something rather unusual in the Green's garden.

A little boy covered entirely in mud emerges from behind the box and introduces himself as Timothy. Cindy and Jim are puzzled as to how he got to their house but eventually decide to accept him as their son. As the months go by, Timothy gradually reveals his qualities - qualities that Cindy and Jim want in their ideal child. Is Timothy all that he seems to be?
