The Karate Kid 2010 Trailer

When Dre and his mum pack up all their belongings and move to Beijing, China neither of them expect it to be an easy change but they're willing to give it a go. At his new school Dre falls for his classmate Mei Ying, she returns the feelings but Dre has chosen the wrong girl, Cheng the school bully takes an instant disliking to Dre and Mei Ying's friendship and decides to keep them apart by beating up the class newcomer.

Whe Dre falls upon the bully and his gang of friends, it's an unlikely person who comes to his rescue; the school janitor Mr Han saves Dre from succumbing to another beating. When Mr Han sees the young boy unable to defend himself Mr Han decides to take him under his wing and teach him how to shield himself from Cheng's Kung Fu. As Dre starts to learn more techniques, he begins to understand that it's not all about how you throw punches but an inner calm and must be achieved to win.

The Karate Kid 2010 is based on John G. Avildsen's 1984 film of the same name which starred Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita.
