30 years after the last worldwide war America is almost unrecognisable. The land is home to very few survivors and most of the humans that still live have a life of crime, you risk being killed for the small amount of possessions you may have on you. Eli is a warrior, he travels the lands with one hope for the people, only Eli and one other person understands the treasures he possesses and the hope it holds for mankind.
Carnegie is the other man who understands the power Eli carries, however he's a self-appointed despot of a small shanty town home to gangs of gunmen and thieves. Carnegie will do whatever he can to get hold of Eli's treasure.
