Charlie Brown is the insecure son of a barber who is going through his childhood struggling with his self-image. However, he always has his eccentric and rather over-friendly pet dog Snoopy to keep his spirits up and take him on everyday adventures alongside his loyal group of friends. On the other hand, Snoopy has his own problems to think about as he tries to win the affections of pretty neighbouring poodle Fifi. Just what will Charlie and Snoopy get up to this time?
'Snoopy And Charlie Brown: A Peanuts Movie' is the first cinematic re-capturing of Charles Schulz's famous 'Peanuts' comic strip set to be released on the 65th anniversary of the first comic issue. The movie version of the comic, which was originally adapted into an animated TV series that ran between 1983 and 1986, has been directed by Primetime Emmy winner Steve Martino ('Ice Age: Continental Drift', 'Horton Hears a Who!') and written by Charles Schulz's son Craig Schulz ('Happiness Is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown') alongside his grandson Bryan Schulz and Cornelius Uliano in their first feature film. The film will be released in 2015 and also marks the 50th anniversary of TV special 'A Charlie Brown Christmas'.
