Loving is a new film that documents the lives of Mildred and Richard Loving, a black woman and a white man who experienced racial discrimination during the 1950's. The film follows the couple on their journey through life and their aim to live peacefully and create a stable home for them and their three children.
The laws in Virginia prohibited individuals of black and white races to get married, this led to their lives being torn apart one night when they were arrested by the police and imprisoned. This film directed by Jeff Nichols is a heart - warming tale that depicts the lives of two individuals that have been the target of racial prejudice and how despite the forbidding laws they continued to love each other for the rest of their lives.
