Father Of Invention Trailer

Robert Axle is a wealthy infomercial master. However, when one of his latest inventions has a design fault that chops users' fingers off, his empire shatters. After spending eight years in federal prison, he is released, and begins to attempt to rebuild his fortune.

He returns to his old house, to find his wife, now ex-wife, has squandered his riches and settled into the house with her new husband, Jerry. With no money at all, he looks desperately for a job, and settles for a position as a janitor at the local supermarket. Couple this with the fact that he's had to move in with his eccentric daughter, it goes to show his life really isn't what it used to be.

Despite these setbacks, Axle is determined to pitch his new gadget to commercial big guns and make his money back. However, times have changed whilst Axle has been away, and he finds himself incredibly out of sync with advancing technology. He realises that to be successful, he needs to ditch his past character, and reinvent himself.
