After witnessing the death of his mother and father, Conan was made an orphan and worked for his keep. His father was his mentor, the one person who really taught him the meaning of life and the importance of their work. Setting off on a lonely treck, Conan discovers a cruel and unforgiving world, far from the village he grew up in.
On his travels, Conan is met by many dangerous people, fighting thieves and pirates, the muscular warrior eventually catches up with a powerful warlord by the name of Zym who is the man who ordered the attack on Conan's former tribe. Seeking revenge and justice for other tribes who Zym's close to destroying, Conan embarks on a mission to kill Zym and end his regime; however, getting close enough to attack, is going to take a new found strength in order to defeat Zym's henchmen, and a powerful witch by the name of Marique.
The first version of Conan the Barbarian was released in 1982 and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Earl Jones.
