The Theory Of Everything star Felicity Jones has found a novel way to sob on cue for sad scenes - she guzzles red wine the night before.
The British actress admits she used to dread scenes which required her to cry in front of the cameras until she discovered alcohol helped her find true emotion.
She tells U.S. chat show host Conan O'Brien, "I just resorted to the night before just drinking loads of red wine, because then the next day you're in this slightly suicidal, depressed state... and then it's perfect for doing really emotional scenes.
"I wouldn't recommend it to young actors; it's probably not the best method."
