It has nearly been six months since Hollywood's hottest couple, Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling, welcomed their baby daughter Esmeralda into the world, but the 41-year-old actress still doesn't think she is qualified to give out advice on motherhood.

"I don't feel like I've really earned that right. I want to respect all the moms out there," the proud mother said in the April issue of Women's Health. "They're going to be like, 'You know what? You're a few months in. Just shut up.'"

But despite being relatively new to parenting, Mendes and Gosling are already equipped to dealing with the lack of sleep. "I'm actually enjoying the sleepless nights because it's bonding with my little girl," she explained.

But if the acting duo ever do need to ask for help or even call on someone to babysit their young daughter, the 'Hitch' actress has a huge support system.

"I've had the same girlfriends since I was 12, and I've made amazing girlfriends since," she revealed. "My mom and my two older sisters have always been there telling me I could accomplish anything. We have each other's backs in the best way."

Mendes and Gosling, who are known for wanting to keep their lives as private as possible, are also successfully shielding their first child from the public eye.

"I believe there is a public self and a private self," she shared. "My sisters and my good friends are experiencing that now [with] Facebook and Instagram. When they freak out about a friend of theirs posting a bad picture of them, I'm like, 'Well, imagine how I feel! Get used to it!"
