Emma Thompson is set to return to the big screen as the lawyer who earned her an Oscar nomination in 1994.
The Brit scored a Best Supporting Actress nod for her portrayal of attorney Gareth Peirce in In The Name of the Father, and now Screen Daily reports Thompson is slated to play the real-life character again in courtroom thriller The Secret Evidence.
In the film, Thompson's character aids a young British couple caught up in a terrorism drama.
Nicholas Racz, who was detained under house arrest for two years in conjunction with the U.K.'s war on terror, is attached to direct the project.
