Eminem and Rihanna will perform their smash hit collaboration 'The Monster' live at the Mtv Movie Awards 2014 on Sunday night (April 13). It will be the first time the pair have performed the single, which spent four weeks atop the Hot 100 chart.

The superstar duo join a line-up that already includes Ellie Goulding and Zedd, who will combine for a medley of 'Beating Heart' and 'Find You'. Conan O'Brien will host this year's show from Los Angeles' Nokia Theater.

'The Monster' remains Eminem's most successful single to date and he will head out for a joint tour with Rihanna this week. The Monster Tour,  announced earlier this year, kicks off in Los Angeles on August 7 and will visit Detroit and New York.

The pair have joined forces for an MTV awards show performance in the past. In 2010, they performed their No.1 single 'Love The Way You Lie' at the MTV Video Music Awards. 

David O'Russell's American Hustle, Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street and The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire lead the MTV Movie Awards nominations with eight. The comedy We're The Millers has six, while 12 Years a Slave, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Dallas Buyers Club, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and This Is The End have four. 

Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence lead the individual nominations, with five and four respectively. 

The MTV Movie Awards goes out at 9:00 pm ET on Sunday.
