Ellie Goulding seems to have dropped her biggest hint yet that she’ll be singing the theme song for the upcoming James Bond movie Spectre.

The 28 year old British singer posted a photo on Instagram of herself leaving the legendary Abbey Road recording studios in North London on Monday night (July 27th), writing “That’s a wrap!” as a caption. Soon afterwards, bookmakers began suspending betting on the odds of her singing the soundtrack, on which she’s rumoured to be collaborating with fellow Brit Sam Smith.

Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk, featuring Bruno Mars, has been named the most streamed track of 2015 so far, in a list compiled by OfficialCharts.com. The track has already notched up just over 45 million streams since January, giving it a total of 51.3 million since its release last December.

Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’ is the year’s most streamed song so far.

The year’s second most streamed track is reggae-pop hit ‘Cheerleader’ from OMI, which has been streamed over 40 million times. The track was released back in April and hit the number one spot during its third week of release.

Ellie Goulding has announced she has been working with MAC on her own cosmetics range. The singer shared the news – and a couple of preview pictures – on Instagram on Thursday (4th June). In the pictures, Goulding has a slight 70s vibe with her hair billowing from her face in loose curls and her hands planted firmly on her hips.

Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar was not a combination we ever thought we'd see, but with their collaboration on 'Bad Blood' - alongside a host of other celebrities in the hotly anticipated video - seems this pop starlet is ever expanding her much-loved sound.

There might be a whole action movie vibe to the video, which opened at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards yesterday (May 17th 2015), but there's not much to it in terms of plot. It opens with Catastrophe (Taylor Swift) and Arsyn (Selena Gomez) seemingly working together to defeat a horde of masked assassins, before Arsyn - with her eyes on the prize - takes out Catastrophe too. Then she finds herself at Welvin Da Great's (Kendrick Lamar) headquarters being - for want of a better word - 'repaired' by The Trinity (Hailee Steinfeld x3) before rallying her army of scantily clad beauties to go against her newfound enemy.

At last night’s Billboard Awards, Taylor Swift reached a new milestone in her career, becoming the award show’s most decorated artist. Her eight awards (out of 14 nods), including one for Best Artist, bring her Billboard total to twenty, more than the previous record holder, Garth Brooks.

Taylor had more than one reason to celebrate on Sunday though, since the award show coincided with the release of her music video for Bad Blood, featuring the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Zendaya, Ellie Goulding, Hayley Williams and many more. The video premiered at the awards, after a brief introduction from the woman of the hour. Taylor also won a special achievement award chosen by fan voting.

Taylor Swift has been teasing what looks like a pretty special video for ‘Bad Blood’ ahead of its debut next week. Over the last three days, the singer has been uploading some kick-ass looking Sin City-style posters casting herself and some of her friends as a team of superheroes.

On May 7th, Swift posted a noir-ish looking picture of herself on her Instagram page, dressed in a leather motorcycle-style jacket and looking straight down the camera, with the words “Taylor Swift starring as ‘Catastrophe’. The picture also contained the words “Bad Blood” with the tagline “Band-Aids Don’t Fix Bullet Holes”, in the style of a movie poster.

The Scottish DJ and Leicester rockers were head up the bill at Hylands Park and Weston Park and will be joined by Sam Smith, James Bay, Ellie Goulding, The Script, George Ezra, Stereophonics, Olly Murs, Ella Henderson, Kodaline and Cvhrches.

British chart star Ellie Goulding nearly came in for a nasty surprise when she went running. She had to employ some nifty footwork in order to avoid being punched in the face by a stranger on Thursday morning (February 23rd).

She took to Twitter to tell her fans that a man she claimed to be “off his face” tried to strike her with a “Superman punch”, but fortunately her fitness regime and physique allowed her to duck out of the way just in time.
