It has been four years since the world's most famous professional golfer, Tiger Woods, was discovered to have been living a double life behind his family's back.

The 38 year-old sportsman was exposed as a serial cheater, and had a sexual relationship with at least a dozen women while being married to Elin Nordegren.

The Swedish blonde beauty, who is a former model and the mother to Woods' two children, Sam, 6, and son Charlie, 5, has finally spoke out on the messy separation.

However, surprisingly Nordegren told People Magazine that things between herself and her cheating ex-husband are "really good," and explained how they only live 25 minutes away from each other in Southern Florida.

"I have moved on and I am in a good place," Nordegren said to the mag. "My relationship with Tiger is centered around our children and we are doing really good - we really are - and I am so happy that is the case. He is a great father."

The recent psychology graduate of Rollings College did admit that at the time of their split, and the revealing of her husband's cheating scandal, she attended therapy sessions and still sees her therapist at least once a week to keep "working on myself."

"In the beginning, you tamp down the animosity for the kids' sake," she admitted. "I'm not going to deny that I went through the wringer. But I don't think I doubted we'd end up here. That was always my dream, that the kids can have two loving parents that show respect for each other. And I feel that's what they have."

Four years on and it does seem the pair are in a very good place, it was reported last month Tiger's current girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn, and Nordegren have developed a strong friendship. "You'd think it would be weird, but Elin loves Lindsey and they talk all the time," a source revealed, adding "Elin likes that Lindsey is a strong woman."
