Actor/filmmaker Eli Roth Narrowly Escaped With His Life During A Fiery Accident On The Set Of 2009'S Inglourious Basterds.
The star was filming a climatic gun battle scene in a burning French theatre with co-star Omar Doom for the Quentin Tarantino action movie, but the flames became uncontrollable as various set props, including flags and cinema seats, caught fire all around them.
Roth tells HuffPost Live, "We were almost killed doing that sequence.
"(The flames) were spreading so exponentially. They (fire safety experts) said if we were in there another 15 seconds, the stage we were on would have collapsed and we all would have been killed."
