Dwayne Johnson stars as Hercules in what could be this summer's biggest blockbuster.
Dwayne Johnson has hammered home the secrecy behind Paramount and MGM's new Hercules movie by claiming that almost fifty crew-members were fired for attempting to take pictures of him in full regalia.

Johnson himself was guilty of tweeting numerous pictures from the set of the Greek epic, though always teased his own character without giving too much away. This, he suggested, was part of his social master-plan.
"I told the studios, 'Hey, what I'd like to do is take the audience and the fans on a journey from beginning to end because it's such a passion project for me. So from the time I get to Budapest, I'd like to take them on a journey in terms of what my diet is, what my training is and on set, too,'" he told the site. "They said, 'Well, how are you going to do that?' I said, 'Well, trust me. Somehow I'm going to do it.'"
Hercules Is One Of Two Hollywood Movies About The Greek Demigod Released in 2014
However, as the former wrestler explained to Cinema Blend, not everyone was so lucky.
"I would say maybe close to 50 people were fired - crew members - all trying to sneak pictures," Johnson said. "There's mandate and we all agreed on that."
Brett Ratner and his team revealed the first footage from the movie a CinemaCon on Monday and Paramount released the first full trailer on Tuesday (April 1, 2014).
The movie picks up Hercules' story after his completion of the legendary twelve labors. However, the Greek demigod has his life as a sword-for-hire tested when the King of Thrace and his daughter seek his aid in defeating a tyrannical warlord.
Equipped with a very handy looking support cast including Ian McShane and John Hurt, Hercules is set for release on July 25, 2014. It is one of two Hercules movies schooled for 2014 - the other being Summit Entertainment's The Legend of Hercules, starring Kellan Lutz.
