Drake has issued an apology after an unreleased song claiming that Kylie Jenner was his ''side piece'' was played during an Instagram Live.
Drake has issued an apology after the lyrics from a scrapped song in which he called Kylie Jenner his ''side piece'' were revealed.
The 'Toosie Slide' rapper and the beauty mogul were reported to have had a fling last year, and Drake penned an unreleased track about it, featuring Future, which was played during Night Owl Sound's Instagram Live set.
The song included the lines: ''Yeah, I'm a hater to society / Real s**t, Kylie Jenner that's a side piece / Yeah, I got 20 motherf***in' Kylies.''
And Drake - who has two-year-old son Adonis with Sophie Brussaux - has now penned a note explaining that he never intended to make ''any friends of mine'' feel ''disrespected''.
He wrote on his Instagram Story: ''A song that Mark ran last night on Night Owl Sound live set shouldn't have been played. It's a song that leaked 3 years ago and got scrapped shortly after.
''He was just going too deep in the Drake/Future catalogue.
''Last thing I'd want to do is wake up having any friends of mine feeling disrespected so I just had to say that to start off the day.''
According to TMZ, it's Future who raps the line, not Drake.
Kylie's sister Kendall Jenner and fellow model Gigi Hadid are also mentioned in the track, which features the lines: ''Yeah, I got 20 damn Kendalls / Young slim baddies and they in vogue / Yeah, I got 20 f***in' Gigis.''
Kylie, 22, and Drake, 33, reportedly had a brief fling after she split from Travis Scott - with whom she has two-year-old daughter Stormi - in October.
Kylie and Travis, 28, are currently quarantining with their little girl during the Covid-19 pandemic and it has been claimed that they are back together.
