Dr. Dre Has Addressed The Allegations Of Violence Against Women Which Have Blighted His Career Over The Years, Admitting He Has Made "Horrible Mistakes" He Wishes He Could Take Back.
The rap mogul pleaded no contest to assaulting TV reporter Dee Barnes in 1991 and was sentenced to community service and probation, and he was later accused of being violent during his relationship with singer Michel'le between 1990 and 1996.
Dre, real name Andre Young, has now spoken out about the allegations and insisted he is a changed man.
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "I made some f**king horrible mistakes in my life... I was young, f**king stupid. I would say all the allegations aren't true - some of them are. Those are some of the things that I would like to take back. It was really f**ked up. But I paid for those mistakes, and there's no way in hell that I will ever make another mistake like that again."
The rapper and Michel'le have a son together, Marcel, who was born in 1991.
