Dita Von Teese has swapped the burlesque stage for the studio as she prepares to unveil her self-titled debut album this week. She teams up with French singer Sebastien Tellier on the lead single from the record, 'Porcelaine'. Tellier has also produced the new album.

It's an ambient French-language number with a retro edge; a seductive composition that feels very Dita Von Teese. She's been a burlesque dancer since the nineties, and has since branched out into lingerie design, releasing her own make-up range, and even acting - so it was only a matter of time before the music industry called.

Since 1992, EJAF (Elton John AIDS Foundation) has raised over 321 million USD to help combat AIDS/HIV. One of the biggest events on EJAF's calendar is that of the Academy Awards Ceremony - for the last 23 years, Sir Elton John has hosted a special Academy Awards viewing party, in which celebrities from all areas of the entertainment industry come together to watch the Oscars, whilst raising money for the foundation. This year was no exception.

Of course, as with any Oscar party, members of the Hollywood elite were in attendance, like Alec and Hilaria Baldwin. But also, tremendous musical talent flocked to West Hollywood Park in Los Angeles. In addition to Sir Elton John, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne were there to pose for pictures, as were Miley Cyrus, LIL' KIM and Kylie Minogue. Moby and Beck also stopped by to help raise awareness for the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Fashion Week is in full swing, so as per tradition, everyone is looking to the front row at fashion shows as much as the runway. For a while now, the front row has been the place to be seen, not just to see next season’s looks. So it’s about time for a round-up of this year’s most fashion-conscious celebrities.

Robb might play an 80s suburban teen on television, but her style definitely wasn't left behind.

The Rebecca Minkoff show on Friday attracted a whole host of Millenial Hollywood starlets. Anna Kendrick sat next to Carrie Underwood, who sat next to The Carrie Diaries star AnaSophia Robb, who sat next to Girls star Zosia Mamet. In short, it was like a nominees list for a Teen Choice award. Apparently, after taking fashion blogs by storm, Rebecca Minkoff is now steadily conquering young Hollywood as well. And with a collection dominated by short skirts, school girl inspired uniform dresses and uber-trendy dark makeup looks, it’s no surprise that the show appears to the younger crowd.

"Hi, yeah it's Miley...Look could you bring me some clothes - I seem to have accidentally inhaled mine and there's this creepy dude standing around with a camera." Well maybe Miley Cyrus didn't actually say this but it's pretty much what the 20 year-old former Hannah Montana's facial expression is implying on the front of designer Marc Jacobs T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan "Protect The Skin You're In" which is positioned strategically over a starkers Cyrus.

Cyrus: Raising Bare Monies.

It's not a massive cloth-shed for the usually scantily clad performer but there's a special cause at the heart of the shirt campaign. One of the striking black and white T-shirts will cost you $35 but proceeds will go to support the NYU Cancer Institute and NYU Langone Medical Center: centres for medical education in New York, as reported by The Daily Mail. The shirts were launched across nine Marc Jacobs boutiques in America on Friday (26th July) morning, with a planned expansion to Europe next month.
