Demi Lovato, Leann Rimes and Eva Longoria have reached out to tornado victims after severe weather continued to ravage the U.S. on Tuesday (24May11).
A spate of thunderstorms and tornadoes have hit southern states, including Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas - just two days after a powerful twister claimed more than 120 lives in Joplin, Missouri.
Singer Lovato was one of the first people to respond to the news, telling her Twitter.com followers she's worried for pals in her home state of Texas.
She wrote, "Please pray for the tornado victims.. Please.. The tornado... has just hit by (sic) best friend's neighborhood... I'm really really nervous right now.. please pray."
Meanwhile, Rimes, who hails from the southern state of Mississippi, also shared fears for her loved ones, adding: "Please say a few prayers for Dallas! Very bad weather! Just talked to my mom and they're in the closet!!!"
Desperate Houswives star Longoria, from Texas, added, "More tornadoes? Oh no! God Bless Oklahoma!"
