As delightfully delicious as ever, this Deerhoof single sounds like a Pedro Almodovar soundtrack sent through a mangle in Paris and pulled out the other end in Japan. Quite possibly the shortest five minutes and 27 seconds your life will ever contain, these two tracks skip and lilt, bizarre and beautiful in equal measures. Satomi’s vocals are cute, just the right side of cutesy, dipping their toes in the water of the 60’s chanteuse, as Moog-like synths spiral about her.

Not quite as instant as some of Deerhoof’s numbers: leave it on repeat til it eats your ears.
